About Us

Dirty Deeds Housekeeping officially began in 2012 in Sioux City, Iowa. As a native, my passion for cleaning and organizing flourished easily through networking and great word of mouth. Detailed and thorough cleaning was my niche and it was a hit! My clientele grew quickly and I was so at ease with the peace of mind that cleaning brought me.

Fast forward to 2014 and life took me to Des Moines, Iowa. Here, networking was less of a helpful tool as I was new to my surroundings. Through job boards and a some close friends I was able to gain a few regularly scheduled housekeeping clients, but one will always stand out to me. Dr K was retired and one of the most interesting men I have ever met, he was also a hoarder. He had not thrown away a non-perishable item out of his 3,000 sq ft home in 20 years. After eight months, thousands of rubber bands, batteries, bullets, toiletries, receipts and hundreds of shoes later I had organized this entire house right down to the furnace room. Eventually Dr K would snooze through most of my visit as I worked quietly and meticulously like a 'bulldozer' as he called it. I will never forget the day he told me that he trusted what I threw away and no longer felt the need to rifle through bags before they went to the curb. Gaining the trust of a man who was trusted with lives was a privilege to me.

2015 took me to Miami, Florida where I spent two years doing spot cleaning jobs for new move-ins, deep cleaning for long-time residents, closet organizing, and housekeeping for regularly scheduled clients that I adored. As beautiful as the weather was, family brought me back to the midwest and I couldn't be happier. I am currently spending my days doing different types of cleaning and organizing jobs in a 100 mile radius of  Lincoln, Nebraska with a couple trusted team members. I pride myself on time and situational flexibility. Each cleaning 'job' is tailored to every home's needs and structural materials. No request is out of the ordinary and no home is unworthy of a little professional love.
